Quick Start Guide

Get Started with Hope Hospital in 5 Minutes

Designed for physicians, nurses, receptionists, and pharmacists opening Hope Hospital for the first time.

Log In to Hope

Launch the application on Windows, Linux, macOS, or your bedside Android tablet. Input your username and temporary credentials provided by the IT department.

Network Connectivity Indicator:

🟢 Green: Connected directly to the hospital local area network (instant sync).

🟠 Orange: Offline-First mode active (actions are saved locally in full safety and will automatically synchronize upon reconnection).

Register or Search for a Patient

In the left sidebar, open Patients. Search existing records instantly or click + New Patient to record demographic data, blood group, and critical PatientGuard allergy warnings.

Conduct a Consultation & Prescribe

Open Consultations, record vitals (BP, Weight, Temperature, Pulse), enter clinical observations, and assign standardized ICD-10 diagnostic codes. Prescribe medications directly from dispensary stock to print secure PDF prescriptions.

Inpatient Admission & Dispensing

Assign an available bed in Hospitalizations (with strict biomedical equipment validation). Prescriptions are instantly available in the Pharmacy queue for dispensing.

Billing & Cash Register Balancing

The Cashier counter aggregates all patient encounters (consultation, inpatient stay, lab tests, pharmacy). Settle invoices via Cash, Card, Mobile Money, or Insurance with official numbered receipts.
